Brighter Horizons

Brighter Horizons is an annual one-day event featuring a series of workshops which educate middle and high school girls about careers for women in math, science and engineering. A number of AAUW branches, including the San Fernando Branch, host Brighter Horizons events.

2009 will be the San Fernando Valley's seventh year hosting the event. It will take place on Jan. 31, 2008 at Pierce College. Each of the previous events received rave reviews from all - attendees, participants, and presenters. A list of the workshops that and a registration form is available in the 2009 brochure and registration form. Workshops are filled in the order that registration forms are received, so don't delay in returning yours.
